01Why can’t a free camp use joint electricity?+
Power is sold by load, and anyone who did not buy was never counted in that point’s load calculation. An unplanned extra connection overloads the feed, trips the breaker for everyone, and puts at risk the camp that did pay. Sharing is allowed only between two theme camps that share a border.
02Why is there no 1,500W bundle?+
The smallest connection we physically install is 3,000W — that is our unit of infrastructure, and it costs us the same whether you draw 1,500W or 3,000W. The one exception: an art installation drawing up to 1,500W is exempt from purchase entirely.
03Will we have our own private connection box?+
Yes. Every camp gets a dedicated connection point with its own protection, so a fault at your neighbour’s does not take you down, and vice versa.
04Our use is dynamic and we won’t hit max load most of the time. Can we buy less?+
A connection is sized on peak, not average — a breaker responds to a single moment of load, not to daily consumption. In the desert the whole camp wakes at sunset, which is exactly when everything switches on at once. That is why the calculator adds 15% of headroom above your computed peak.
05How fast will you respond to a call?+
Our crew is on site 24/7 for the whole event. A fault that takes a camp’s power down goes to the front of the queue.
06Can I pick my connection spot?+
You can ask, and we try. The final call is ours on professional grounds — the infrastructure route, distances and safety decide where a point can stand.
07What if someone else has taken my socket?+
Call us. The point is registered to the camp that bought it, and we sort it out on site.
08Can I rent cables from you?+
No. Cables and connectors are the camp’s responsibility and must be laid per city rules. Come equipped — there is no electrical shop in the desert.
09How do I know how much my device draws?+
Our calculator covers most of what arrives in the city, with ranges and a typical value. Always check the sticker on the back of the device — the exact figure is printed there.
10When do I get a tax invoice?+
Immediately. The moment payment clears, the system issues a tax invoice/receipt and emails it to the address you gave. If you ordered as a business and provided a tax ID, the invoice carries a Tax Authority allocation number whenever the amount requires one — so you can deduct the VAT without chasing us.
11Can I pay with Bit?+
Yes. Credit card and Bit, both in advance. The invoice is issued the same way either way.
